Therapeutic Apology for Family Healing
Therapeutic Apologies are one of the most powerful interventions used in family-oriented work, including in parent-child and co-parenting contexts. They can also be integrated and delivered in the context of of individual therapy. The training will introduce the "standard" EFFT apology with a particular focus on its application between parent and child (of any age) and between co-parents, including in the context of separation/divorce. Likely outcomes include: strengthening relationships, releasing self/other-blame for all involved, and evolving the emotional climate of the family. A worksheet, client scripts and clinician guides to support the interventions are included for participants. No prior training required.
